  1. I actually think I can make some models for future Underhell redesigns using ARMA III's arsenal. Jake In ARC security armor ARC Merc Whatdya think?
  2. With talk of Underhell possibly being moved from Source to UR4, it makes me think what our favorite characters would look like with new, custom made assets and models. I've been rummaging around some ideas and I think I have a good picture of what our character's outfits will look like. First off, I believe both the security guards and the PMCs should be wearing the Interceptor Plate Carrier Vest. This baby is standard issue in the U.S. military and has seen extensive combat. It also comes with optional attachments such as shoulder and thigh guards as well as a crotch pad. I think the Security Guard variant should be grey-brown and have the white "SECURITY" text on the back and for the PMCs it should be all black with a crotch pad and shoulder-guards. Also, for the PMCs, an S10 British gas mask with an Enhanced Combat Helmet. Tell me what you think.

  4. I don't think so, he just says "If that's any help" to give you an idea of what to look for. The computer equipment if just there to let you know it's his bed and subsequently where his red chest is.
  5. I think NWI should pick up Underhell as their own title with MXthe as the Project Lead, writer, creator and director.

I know Hen said that he wouldn't make NH3 but regarding the multiple teasers to some sort of sequel in the 2015 release, especially what Romero says before he's killed, if it's true that there won't be an NH3 then this is both a slap in the face and a middle finger rubbed in the face of everyone who wanted to see another game. If there really isn't going to be an NH3 it's like rubbing salt into the wound by teasing all these things for a game we really wanted a sequel out of. Is Hen messing with us and there will be an NH3 but at a MUCH later date or will there never be an NH3 and Hen is essentially trolling us?
  7. Well, if it's so easy to use, we might see an enhanced version of Underhell on S2.
  8. With the steam version to come out eventually, there are a lot of cool things I and a lot of others would like to see from MXthe's time on insurgency. I tried talking with MXThe about this on steam but you can't message people on steam if they're not your friend. So i sent him an FR and he denied it since he doesn't know me. So i thought i'd deposit my two-cents here on the forums. Alright enough chit-chat, let's get into it. 1.Insurgency's weapon sway: I liked how you had free-aim to replace inflating crosshairs in Underhell but the movement for free-aim was kind of stiff and jerky in my opinion. I was thinking MXThe could add insurgency's smooth side-to-side weapon sway. 2. Better gore: This has been brought up before but I imagine a gore system similar to Contagion. Where combined with dismemberment and decapitations you can chip off bits of flesh from an NPC's legs, arms and torso. It would also be cool to see more meat chunks from decapitations rather than the blood stream we have now. 3. Blood pools: Black Mesa-esque blood pools. 4. I've seen this has been brought up in another thread, but still worth a mention. Safe room characters that follow you: Rather than have everyone stand around like a bunch of lazy asses, if a guard isn't busy he'll follow you out into the danger zone. For example, say Eric isn't busy and is just sitting in his chair at the end of the hallway, he'll ask if you need anything, that's when a menu option pops up with ENTER and BACKSPACE. ENTER will have him follow you, BACKSPACE will cancel the interaction. And when you and your companion find a survivor, they will add some extra dialogue. NEW 5. Hold-to-aim. Rather than toggling ironsights you also have the option to Hold the designated key. That's all i got so far.
  9. I wish he would replace the benelli's model with a mossberg 590 or a remington 870. The winchester shotgun seems a little outdated for this type of game.
  10. For Underhell-mod. I've got some ideas for when the Underhell source code comes out to make an SMOD game out of it. A complete recreation of HL2 with Underhell's many features.
  11. I was thinking I could be a separate soldier AI voice. I'll admit, I've fallen in love with Michael's voice but do you think when the time comes we can add some additional soldier voices maybe as an addon? EDIT: Another thing that is very important; I still have a young voice but that's probably something that can be fixed with audio editing programs right?
  12. Just out of curiosity, is Underhell open for voice auditions? I've had this thought around in my head that maybe I can play a minor role like a soldier or a civilian. Just speaking hypothetically.
  13. Nah, it's no easier than doing it the traditional way. You would have to port all of the maps to Gmod as well as the characters, props, and textures. Making it in garry's mod seems a little cheap, I say we should do it the traditional way. The guy who created concerned was making a satire comic. I'm expecting this comic to stay true to the game it's based on.
  14. I recently saw the fan art posted on Underhell's Facebook page. There's no harm in at least ASKING the guy. Another thing which isn't too much of a problem but still up for discussion. The game has multiple choices changing the outcome. While the choices don't entirely change the story and the outcome is mostly the same, we would have to chose which choice would be considered canon. For example, when Jake goes to the prison cafeteria. He can either go back to his cell and be ambushed by Tyrone (Which in itself ALSO has two outcomes, Jake wins the fight or he gets wounded) or he could wait in the cafeteria and be sent back to his cell because of Tyrone. Also, we could have our own take on cinematic points in the game. For me, when I was fighting Marcus, I thought it would be cool to dodge his attacks and cut his head off with an axe. Something like that would be pretty cool in the comic when Jake runs out of ammo.
  15. I really loved the idea for an Underhell web comic. Many video game developers have created comics to better tell the story or as a spin-off to a certain character. It sounds like something WCS can create. We've created flash games before, why not experiment in literature. The real problem is finding an illustrator for the comic if this actually does become a thing.
