I've made a Falling Sand Game, which is a physics simulation that focuses more on the interactions between particles rather than accurate physics. Additionally, a highlight of many of the best ones is moddability. The game is being actively developed, and I can use all the opinions, suggestions, and comments on it that I can get.

Interesting idea. I gave the browser based Falling Sand Game a go, it was good fun but I still don't really get what can be done with it...I mean, besides water outs fires and oil burns, I couldn't find anything else to do.

Oh and welcome to the forums :)

The browser games aren't quite as enjoyable, no, but the downloadable ones are a bit better, because you can modify them and use your own elements. Some very interesting mods have been made for sand games in the past.

How is the unstable version unstable? And where's the changelog?

(I haven't downloaded yet)

Weeeeeeird. When I spawn anything, the screen fills with randon squares of it. It kills the game COMPLETELY. And I'm using the stable one.

Changelog? I'm afraid I never bothered to make one.

And the old versions had tons of bugs, to this point there (were) only a couple (previously insignificant) bugs which I (was) aware of.

OK, both of you please run the game with the command line "debug" (without the quotes) and if done correctly, a console window and a graphics display will show up when you fire up the game. Please take a screenie of the bug in action on several occasions with different mods loaded and with it started at different times. Be sure to always take a picture of the windows if it gives a message saying it's going to crash. (Except if it occurs when you tell it to close, this is a bug I'm fully aware of.)

Debug isn't doing anything except slow it down EXTREMELY when water touches plant.

I don't think an image will be enough, I'll try to get a video.

Edit: Uploading to YouTube right now.

Edit: I checked, and it happens on 1.6 as well, but the video is 1.53.
