Airbending is better. You can FLY with it, dammit!

It'd be impressive if you spent more time on the particle effect itself. It looks like something from an early 90's video game.

Also add some sounds and some emotion (firebending comes from anger usually).

Pretty cool for a test

Okay, you're pretty new at this, but anyway here I have some tips to make it look more awesome:

Put some green screen and change the environment to something dark and cool

add some colour correction

add some black shadow in the edges (like that L4D effect)

make the camera shake when you throw the flames (with the wiggle position effect)

Try to put many particles with different brightness, and colors (something like yellow orange and red)

Also try to make a particle that distorts or blurs a bit the background

Lol but actually this is really too much and would take a lot of time I think. If you just started just try to do some simple things like putting many particles.

I disagree, TNE. It's pretty good. I have no idea how easy the program you used is, but the result is not bad at all for a beginner.

But what I suggested - sound and better 'acting' - is not something that hard to add, I think.

Well, fuck you TNE, this is a pretty cruel thing to say to a beginner, makes my motivation go down.

Get a little bit tact, would you?

Er, OZ, he clearly said:

I say persist with this, I would like to see what you come up with.

If you're going to post something you made, expect criticism. We're not all going to worship you, you're a beginner. Constructive criticism was given, use it to improve. If you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen.
