I wonder if you could consider maybe adding something like this in the mod. I think it would make it uniqe and it would go very well with the other particle effects. Anyway,check it out and let me know what you think...

What you don't understand, is that every single debris is an actual entity, that has been frozen, and it just gets unfrozen when it receives damage or force.
It is a really expensive way of making destructible environements, and the Source Engine only allows an amount of 2048 entities per map.

I have implemented cheap environemental destruction in the Prologue, on columns and plywood, but this is really heavy stuff.

If a mod were to have this feature using this system, it would have to be designed around this main feature especially.
