I've just registered to the forums because I wanted to say that in the Portuguese keyboard, we need to press the ç key in order to open up the console. I did not had the intention to bump this thread but, as Janipoika done and said, this might help other users and, in my opinion, the FAQ should be updated with these informations.

For me the console key was the big shiny button on the front of my pc case. When I press it loads of console-ish looking text appears on screen then windows boots up.
