  1. As long as you got the atmosphere right there is little that you could do wrong. Atmosphere is the most important part in a horror game, if the atmosphere isn't good it won't suck you in and decreases the overall experience by a lot. For example Dear Esther has a great atmosphere and feels nice "playing" it even though you are just walking through a map. Also penumbra has great atmosphere, for example there is this deep hole where you need to get something and at the bottom there are whispers, you get this feeling of "ow fuck" when you go down there although nothing special happens there.
  2. I like the fifth picture on the blog Other then that just keep up the good work and ignore all the whiners although I do long for a good horror game, F.E.A.R. 1 and 2 do me nothing, the last games that actually made my heart beat really fast were the penumbra series.
  3. Prediction Color correction: 1 week beta testing: 1 week 3 models: 20 hours ea code: ...beats me You are to optimistic
  4. Nah why should they use a npc pack? Would be like, i don't really know, less scary. Wouldn't feel right. BTW I could do Dutch translations.
  5. Completely agree with you. F.E.A.R. to was just some cheap scare effects. I completely missed the atmosphere. Penumbra that was a scary game. Until you know you can abuse the fighting system. Luckily I didn't know that at my first play through.
  6. You make me chuckle
  7. Well I already have seen it about, when it was released a day. D:
  8. Well it would be nice to hear more often from you guys about how the mod is progressing (makes it seem less dead). But that's just me.
  9. O.o shemale? apart from that, do you consider it a good, okay, bad, horrible idea?
  10. don't know if this is cliché or whatever or already suggested. simple room with a corpse lying in the corner, the corpse is like it is someone who just dropped dead for no reason. When your near to the corpse room instantly goes dark. after a few seconds of darkness the girl shows up really short, like a flash (maybe with some laugh) (still completely dark right after that you'll hear a noise of a zombie/monster behind you a soon as you turn around it will attack but will dissapear mid attack as if it where a illusion/ghost/whatever. [repeat from multiple directions] light goes back on, door opens
